The moon slowly rose from the mountains. The mountains where the Tribe of Rushing water lived. The sun sank into the lake where the clans lived. Far from either clan or tribe, a kit was born. A kit with red, gleaming eyes and a dark, black brown pelt. A loner named Sammie looked proud of her new, strong looking kit. She had eight before, but they all died about two minuets after birth. This was the only kit really meant to survive. Even though Sammie loved it from the moment she saw her, the mother was haunted by ghosts of the past. The agonized shrieking of the kits that had died. The thoughts Sammie had thought about such a great mother she'd make. She really didn't want anymore kits. "I'll name you Haunt." She murmured. "Mama!" Haunt cried and started to suckle.
"Give it back!" Hauntkit cried, chasing after Mellowkit. He had taken a pine cone she was playing with, but she did have to admit this was even better than that. Sammie had died, and a Shadowclan warrior had found her. now strong and healthy, Haunt was renamed Hauntkit and Honeyfoot had adopted her. Suddenly Mellowkit stopped dead. A large tom with blue eyes stood before him. Hauntkit skidded to a stop and ran as fast as she could out of camp. Many cats where behind the tom that she hadn't seen. Frightened, she ran back into camp only to see the tom slitting Mellowkit's throat. The dying kit only had the breath to squeal "Intruders!" before her life slipped away. Warriors raced to the scene, only to be killed by the single tom cat. "Pathetic..." The cats behind the tom grumbled. others began working their way to the nursery, the apprentices den, the warriors den, the medicine cat den, and finally the leader's den. When Hauntkit was sure no one was in the Nursery, she slipped inside to check on Honeyfoot, What she saw made Rage build up inside her. Honeyfoot lying dead on the ground, with all the other queens and kits around her, dead as well. Hauntkit couldn't stop herself. She launched at the tom and bit his neck. He dropped dead. Then other cats started charging at her. She killed every last one of them without even a scratch on herself. Gazing at the moon which had risen in the sky, she realized it hadn't moved. Hauntkit calmed down and she could then make out the moon moving. She became angry again. The moon stopped. Hauntkit kept doing so until the moon stopped entirely. The moon would forever be in the sky, reminding her of the fateful night. The end I know the ending is horrible, and the plot isn't that good. But I'm a really good writer when I want to be. And I want to when I'm in the mood. I wasn't in the mood. XD Rofle
