Silver woke up with the smell of sharp herbs in her nose. Silver could feel a strong ache on her shoulder. A brown tabby with blue eyes approached and said softly " Your awake, my name is Lilybreeze. I am the medicine cat apprentice of Shadowclan." She, then suddenly remembered her mother. She could feel the sadness pierce through her heart, gripping her heart until she couldn’t bear it anymore. She saw blue tears like the color of the sky slowly dropping to the ground. Lilybreeze licked her ears and looked at her, her eyes looked like the stars on a dark night she thought. She, then asked, what was wrong?. She replied her question with a complete silence as like she had never heard it. Lilybreeze padded out of the den as she left, she replied to silence, Tell me when you are ready, little one. Later that day, Lilybreeze padded back to den carrying a mouse in her jaws. Silver did not want to eat it, but the hunger gripping in her stomach was unbearable. She took a bite out of the fresh mouse and ate all of it quickly.
